The area allows to manage the currently active highlights.

Edit Mode
Pressing the edit () button at the top of the area, activates the edit mode.
This mode allows for two operations:

Inserting new highlights ():
- for the selected Description Unit (default)
- manually inserting a Reference Code (for an existing DU)

Listing existing highlights () and for each highlight:
Editing attributes
Removing the highlight

Highlight structure
- the refered description unit's reference code;
- the highlight's description;
- the highlight's start and end date (for online announcement).
